Soro Soke With Your Full Chest

What a time to be a Nigerian youth, what a time indeed to be alive. The past week has seen Nigerian youth in their most unified form, speaking up, walking the walk and seeking the exact same thing, an end to police brutality and the devil's arm of the Nigerian police force known as SARS. The slang "Soro Soke" was originated by popular Yoruba actress Toyin Afolayan also known as Lola Idije. The phrase means "Speak Louder", the slang got viral on Twitter when a fan wrote it on one of FC Bayern Munich's post and has now become one of the most famous slangs used in the ongoing protest by Nigerian youths. I am extremely proud of the progress of my generation, the so-called "lazy youth" have made. For years the Nigerian government have lotted, embezzled funds, trampled on the constitutional right of the citizens and did so, with so much recklessness, showing no concern how their actions and inaction affects the lives of people.
